Uz Latviju dodas arvien vairāk nelegālo imigrantu
Uz Latviju plūst arvien spēcīgākas nelegālo imigrantu straumes. Pēdējo divu nedēļu laikā uz robežas aizturēti vairāki Ķīnas un Sīrijas pilsoņi, taču Latvijas iekšienē imigrācijas dienests meklē vēl vairākus desmitus nelegālo ieceļotāju.

Šie četri vīrieši un viena sieviete ir Sīrijas pilsoņi, otrdienas vakarā nelegāli šķērsoja Latvijas – Krievijas robežu. Mūsu valstī viņus gaidīja divi Latvijas iedzīvotāji ar divām automašīnām. Robežu sīrieši šķērsoja netālu no Grebņevas robežkontroles punkta.
Uldis Karnijanovs, VRS Ludzas pārvaldes priekšnieka p.i.: "Viņi gāja, kā pie mums saka, pa zaļo robežu, tas ir, pa apvedceļiem, pa mežiem, pa purviem, pāri upei."

Par sīriešu vēlmi nokļūt Latvijā robežsargi zināja jau trīs dienas iepriekš. Zināja arī to, ka kāds Latvijā viņus sagaidīs.
